The fact is... second chances become a reality when Texans Can! becomes involved in the lives of at-risk youth. Texans Can! has proudly served their communities for over 20 years, providing a model that offers an academically rich curriculum where the focus is always on the individual student.
The fact is... a total of 4,500 students attend one of the 10 campuses across the state of Texas (Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio).
The fact is... each campus recognizes and utilizes the facts and statistics about high school drop-outs to create an educational environment that encourages attendance, learning and genuine interest from students (Relationship Based Model).
The fact is... students enjoy small class sizes with a 15 to 1 student to teacher ratio and receive intense counseling with a 45 to 1 student to counselor ratio (compared to an average ratio of 450 to 1 in traditional high schools).
The fact is... Texans Can! is a free public school of choice. Students enroll in our schools because they want to be here. They want to finish their high school education and provide better opportunities for themselves. Students earn a valid Texas high school diploma.
The fact is... Texans Can! believes all children are of immeasurable value and incalculable worth and all children can learn.
The fact is... Texans Can! must raise $5 million dollars annually through donations to make up the shortfall of venue given by the state of Texas.

Erica has a beautiful smile, is very bubbly and very positive. She graduated in June and has been accepted to Texas A&M. She went to a large public high school before enrolling at Houston Can! She wasn’t having problems in the school.
